The new SICIS Next Art collections – HBA and Cappellini-Lichieri debut at Salone del Mobile 2013.
This year again, the annual Salone del Mobile of Milan will take place, a forum that SICIS willingly welcomes to present the new furniture collections, the result of recent partnerships, continuing to amaze with creations that are always different. Two new collections are released: HBA and Cappellini-Lichieri.
HBA Collection for hospitality sector
The partnership with the interior designers HBA – Hirsch Bedner Associates – leader in the hospitality sector, is a natural evolution of prolific work in common developed over the years in international hotel and residential design projects. HBA meets with the flair of SICIS and priceless, all-Italian craftsmanship; SICIS benefits from the aesthetic intuition of HBA, able to create a sense of space that again and again reflects its time, context and spirit.
Predicting the trends of a complex and multi-faceted industry, the collaboration between SICIS and HBA is translated into courageous and extravagant approaches. Whether the client is a sophisticated traveller or someone who is deeply passionate about their own home, these furniture items fulfil a visionary aesthetic sense, beyond any preconceived limit and bestow a unique and unrepeatable identity.
Cappellini-Lichieri collection by SICIS
This innovative SICIS collection of furnishing accessories, designed by Alida Cappellini and Giovanni Licheri, is inspired by leaves in all their variety. The two famous set designers have chosen different corners of the world and their most characteristic trees to bring life to imaginative compositions. Thus, exotic bamboo represents Asia; the age-old oak, the Old Continent; the perfumed magnolia, America; and the fresh birch, the forests of Northern Europe. In a logical sequence, it’s a short step from the trees to the leaves, with sofas and armchairs coming to life on the wings of imagination, bringing a corner of the garden and a breath of nature into the home.
This collection is particularly aimed at the residential sector, private clients and their architects, meeting the needs of those who seek high-profile creations generating the pure essence of fine design. SICIS thus bestows this further delight to those who are tempted by a poetical touch and a slight glint of folly.
